Upon a very good friend’s recommendation I booked my first 10 night stay and couldn’t be happier I took this -calculated- chance! The property is beautiful, spacious, very clean with lucious greenery and direct access to a powder like sand beach. Very comfortable room, with perfect proportions, great design. International, unpretentious & soft spoken clientele, very relaxing. Very kind and friendly breakfast staff, bartender and very caring cleaning staff! Special thanks to Krystel in the Spa for a very attentive facial and to Maricela for an exceptional Lymphatic Drainage! Service I wanted to get for the longest time back home. Highly recommend this heavenly treatment which I got done twice a couple of days appart!

Beautiful stay. This resort keeps its promises. Note the excellent cuisine of the different restaurants including the extremely packed and diverse breakfast. Attentive and welcoming staff. And above all, beautiful beach, perfectly maintained, no fights to find a deckchair, rather quiet and classy clientele which is very appreciable. Tired of loud and rude people. Here, have been preserved. Not just tourists: also Mexican customers. A guarantee of quality. Finally, ideal location near (15 min walk) the lively center of the hotel area of Cancun via a pretty promenade lined with coconut trees. In short: I recommend. Only inconvenience: noise nuisance similar to work not identified by the staff, as soon as I reported but we were transferred manu militari to another room (even better, upstairs, beach view).

Our apartment was occupied by other guests at the time of check-in; we were disappointed and we were accommodated in an apartment lower than our reservation; however the next day we were placed on the fifth floor in an absolutely spectacular 80 m2 suite, without any extra cost Positive points: Location Service of waiters and waitresses Breakfast academy Concierge tourism agents beach equipment Negative points: pool heating could be more efficient the hydromassage showers of the small pools around the main pool are very weak shower temperature does not remain during the bath Insufficient shower pressure

Our arrival at the hotel unfortunately did not live up to our expectations for our honeymoon, especially due to a room problem and noise nuisance. However, today we would like to highlight the outstanding professionalism of the Director of InterContinental Presidente Mexico City, Jean Proux. As soon as he became aware of the situation, he showed a sincere listening, understanding and a real sense of customer service. He immediately took over our request and upgraded us to a beautiful suite. Thanks to his intervention, we had an excellent night and the end of our stay was very pleasant. The staff was attentive and professional. We would therefore like to warmly thank the Director for his responsiveness, empathy and concern for customer satisfaction. It is thanks to this type of management that an establishment really makes a difference. Thanks again.

Loved the size of the property could use maybe an additional restaurant on property. It did appear that maybe could have used additional help around the pool for drinks and food. Beautiful pool which was heated. Plenty of chairs on the beach. Nice and quiet unlike some of the all inclusive resorts. Our room on beachside 6th floor was extremely spacious. Very clean ! The lobby seemed a little boring could use some live music. All staff very friendly 😁

While this resort is 50 years old, there have been so many thoughtful upgrades in recent years. We have been to this resort at least 8 times. Each time the staff exceeds expectations. Shout out to Gonzalo, Miriam and team at deck bar, always outstanding. The food is delicious at each restaurant, plenty of variety for every meal, not all-inclusive but reasonable prices. This may be the best stretch of beach in Cancun. Crystal clear water and the resort does an amazing job of keeping the seaweed at bay every day. The vibe is low key and quiet. No need to reserve pool or beach chairs, plenty for everyone. Can’t say enough good things about our experience this year and we look forward to returning very soon!

Lovely experience in Cancun President intercontinental hotel. The staff is very nice, the beach with coconut trees and Palapas at our service, the pool with jacuzzi’s to relax… the rooms are very nice, we had one with lagun view but it was a bit noisy for me, the staff was very kind to change us to the pool view side, and it was perfect for us! I also took the Spa experience, the massage from Maricela was amazing❤️❤️❤️ the breakfast restaurant and all the food was amazing! The hotel also offers paddle surf boards and more activities we enjoyed in family. Honestly it was the perfect family holiday!

I had a full body massage and facial under the cabana with massage therapist Kristel. She is excellent!!! Kristel is pleasant, professional, and the massage was so relaxing with just the right pressure level. I highly recommend asking for Kristel. The beach is perfect, clean, clear, shallow water and the grounds are kept immaculate. This is my 2nd year coming to this resort - it's perfect for a quiet and relaxing experience.

I enjoyed my stay at the InterContinental Presidente Cancun. The bed was comfortable. The shower had excellent water pressure. The towels were thick and high quality. The staff truly deserve special mention: everyone I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Special shout-out to Guillermo, from Aqua World, who does a great job of arranging scuba dives and water activities! The ocean views from the hotel are absolutely stunning. The beach is gorgeous and well-maintained. I was also impressed by the well-supplied gym. Dining was another strong point (the fish tacos were excellent!) and the club lounge offered a pleasant, comfortable space with good service. That said, there are a couple of small drawbacks worth noting. Despite appearances, there are no true hot tubs on the property. The small whirlpools that resemble hot tubs are actually filled with regular pool-temperature water, just with jets, which was disappointing on a chilly, windy November day. Many of the best non-hotel restaurants require a taxi or Uber ride, so it’s not ideal if you want to walk to a wide variety of local dining options. Overall, this is a high-quality resort with great service, comfort, and beautiful views, making it an excellent choice if you’re looking for relaxation and don’t mind being a bit removed from Cancun’s broader dining scene.
